Burek

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Layer phyllo dough sheets with melted butter.
  • Add your filling (cheese, meat, or spinach) and roll the dough.
  • Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until golden brown.

Ajvar

  • Roast red peppers and eggplants until their skins are charred.
  • Peel and blend them with garlic, olive oil, and salt.
  • Store in jars and refrigerate for up to a week.

Kajmak

  • Heat heavy cream in a shallow pan until a skin forms on top.
  • Skim off the top layer and let it ferment slightly.
  • Chill before serving.
