Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

  • Wash and Scrub: Start by washing and scrubbing the potatoes to remove any dirt or debris. There’s no need to peel them unless you prefer skinless potatoes.
  • Dice the Potatoes: Cut the potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Uniform pieces ensure even cooking.
  • Soak in Water: Soaking the diced potatoes in cold water for 15-20 minutes removes excess starch, which helps achieve a crispy exterior.

Step 2: Season the Potatoes

  • Dry the Potatoes: After soaking, drain the water and pat the potatoes dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Add Seasonings: Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl. Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle on the garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.

Step 3: Air Fry the Potatoes
